The Ilad Intro from The FEST MC’s

These were two drummers who played in previous years at The FEST. Josh was in the group Ones and Zeros, and Nick was the drummer for The Sucka D’s. They teamed up for The FEST 7 to MC, providing humorous banter, band introductions, and info about days other events. As ILAD was setting up for their Friday Night performance, the MC’s found themselves in a ferocious freestyle rap battle. The gloves came off and the skills were on display.
The plan is to intersperse band footage with clips of the MC’s at work. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it all.

It is impossible for these MC’s not to do a job well. Whatever their aim, their means are superlative. All the drive, the force, the will bared from the lines of their freestyle went into its making. An exceptional talent was burned prodigally to achieve perfection in the unexceptional. A new religious faith could have been founded on the energy of spirit which they spent upon creating lurid phrases and smearing them across the faces of Fest Attendees.
